A Roo's Profile (Con.)

Thu Jun 4, 2009, 1:47 PM
As for my favorite kinds of music I like to listen to, I mostly listen to techno, dance, electronica, contempory country, and pop. The majority of the TDE music (Techno, Dance, Electronica) I listen to comes from overseas, specifically from Europe. My ultimate favorite TDE music group is the Italian trio known as Eiffel 65. I got a taste of their music when I bought NOW4, but it wasn't until I visited MP3.com that I came to fully apreciate the group's music style. From checking out more of their music, I have found the best tunes on their CD titled Eiffel 65 Contact which was released in 2001. Other TDE artist I listen to are the Vengaboys, ACT, A*Teens, Chris Cox, MC Mario, and other various TDE artist.

The primary source of my TDE music comes from a radio station known as Bob 93.3. Every Saturday-night at 11:20PM, they play a segment called the Open House Party Satellite Megamix. Although this short segment, lasting only 3 songs long and sometimes playing repeat songs from elier in the day, I suffer through all 3 songs in the hope of hearing an old favorite or a completely new song that I've never heard before.

One of the largest sub-TDE artist I listen to is the New York based, British-dance group known as iio. As with Eiffel 65, I got my first taste of their music from the purchase of the CD known as Global Hits 2002. As it surprising turns out, my first encounter with their music was already raising the roof in dance-clubs all over Romania & Europe. The name of their first smash-hit was Rapture (Taste So Sweet). Thanks to Bob 93.3, that wasn't my last encounter with their music style. A few nights after buying the CD, I heard a new song I didn't even know they sang. The name of the new song was Kiss You (Baily Club Mix).

Probably one of the coolest, hottest, TDE songs I've heard so far comes from a German TDE artist who's name and song I'm still despritly searching for.

Yet dispite the nice touch of the radio & Internet, my music sources goes beyond them and into TV show & Movie soundtracks. Two such TV songs I'm hunting down are the tracks to the Chinet plate commercial & the Hoover Floormate commercial.

As for my favorite TV shows & Commercials, they follow this specific order.

1. Nature: Big Red Roos

1. Wild Discovery: Reds

3. Perfect Diaster
